Taylor's Photography client guide is a comprehensive resource designed to walk clients through the entire photography experience from start to finish. It explains what clients can expect, helping clients feel confident, prepared, and excited for their session.

BOOKING, PAYMENT, AND AUTOMATIC CHARGE POLICY

To book your session, clients must provide their contact information, preferred date and time, desired location, and session duration. A non-refundable deposit is required for all sessions and varies based on the total session cost. Credit card is the only accepted form of payment.

Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time. If a cancellation is not received within this timeframe, the client authorizes Taylor's Photography to automatically charge the credit card on file for the remaining session balance.

Failure to appear for a scheduled session (no-show) constitutes authorization for Taylor's Photography to automatically charge the credit card on file for the remaining session balance.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION

To ensure the best possible experience and results, clients should arrive on time for their scheduled session. Punctuality allows for the full session time, helps maintain the planned schedule, and ensures we capture all desired shots without feeling rushed.

Other preparation tips may include choosing outfits in advance, coordinating colors, grooming, and bringing any props or items that are meaningful for the session. Being prepared and punctual helps create a relaxed atmosphere and results in beautiful, memorable images.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SESSION DAY

Taylor's Photography specializes in candid photography, capturing authentic moments as they naturally unfold. My focus is on human interactions, emotions, and genuine connections, allowing each session to tell a unique story. Rather than relying solely on posed shots, I observe and document the little gestures, smiles, and interactions that make your memories real and timeless.

LOCATION & WEATHER POLICIES

All sessions must take place at the location specified in the selected package. Clients are not permitted to change the session location without prior approval, as each package is priced and planned according to the designated location.

For outdoor sessions, weather can impact the shoot. If rain or severe conditions occur, the session may be rescheduled to the nearest available date. Taylor's Photography will make the decision based on safety, image quality, and overall session experience. Sessions canceled due to weather are not eligible for a refund, but the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Clients are encouraged to monitor weather forecasts and maintain flexibility, especially for outdoor sessions, to ensure the best possible outcome.

EDITING, IMAGE SELECTIONS, AND RAW IMAGES

Taylor's Photography style is dark and moody, emphasizing rich tones, deep shadows, and dramatic contrasts to create emotionally compelling images. Each photograph is carefully edited to enhance texture, depth, and detail, resulting in sharp, striking imagery that captures both the atmosphere and the essence of the moment.

All final image selections are made exclusively by Taylor’s Photography to ensure a consistent, high-quality, and cohesive gallery. RAW files will not be provided, as they are unedited and do not reflect the finished artistic vision of the session.

GALLERY DELIVERY, TURNAROUND TIME & USAGE RIGHTS

Clients will receive their gallery via the email address provided at the time of booking. This email will include instructions on how to access the gallery, download images, and purchase photo prints through the online store. Galleries will remain active for three (3) months from the delivery date, after which they will be permanently deleted. Rush delivery is not offered.

Turnaround time for event photography varies due to the unlimited number of images captured. Turnaround time for portrait sessions typically ranges from one (1) day to one (1) week, depending on the scope of the session.

All photographs remain the copyrighted property of Taylor's Photography. Clients are granted a personal use license, which allows images to be downloaded, printed, and shared for personal, non-commercial use only.

Images may not be altered, filtered, cropped, or edited in any way without the photographer’s written permission. Commercial use, resale, publication, or use for advertising or promotional purposes is prohibited unless a separate commercial license is purchased.

Clients are encouraged to order professional-quality prints and products through Taylor's Photography online store to ensure accurate color, quality, and longevity. Taylor's Photography is not responsible for print quality, color accuracy, or damage when images are printed through third-party labs.

Taylor's Photography reserves the right to use images for portfolio display, website content, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the session.

REFUND POLICY

All session deposits are non-refundable. The deposit secures your session date and time and guarantees your booking. Once a session is booked, there are no refunds on deposits or payments already made.

Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session to avoid additional charges. After this timeframe, the deposit or remaining balance may be retained or automatically charged according to the booking agreement.

This policy ensures fair scheduling and protects both the client’s and photographer’s time.
